August...Honey Bee Wall Decor
In this series, I use primarily a single palette knife to achieve the effect of a blue, summer sky and foreground, a textured one, at that. Achieving gradients of color is tricky with a palette knife-- almost everything is tricky with a palette knife. Prints are made using pH neutral paper and pigments. Each is billed as "archival quality," but the reality means that for long life you don't want to hang these prints in sunlight, or bright light since UV tends to break down the pigments over time-- even the best pigments. So hang these prints in a suitable space. Thanks for your summer time interest! Check out other painting-to-print possibilities, here.
