Memorial Day Weekend

In a challenging period of American history, this weekend we all mark Memorial Day, the occasion to pay our respects to each member of our US military who has fallen in the line of battle defending the rights we all take mostly for granted. But this is changing. We are realizing the supreme sacrifice so many have paid going back to the founding of the Nation, especially encompassing the devastation that came with the Civil War, from whence our holiday began.
